"What Score Would You Give 2021?"

I hope this finds you, your family, and your business well as 2021 comes to a close.

A colleague of mine asked me recently what I would score my experience for 2021. My response was 8.5 out of 10.

They were surprised why my score was so high.

I explained that I had just finished going through a period of reflection on the past year. Taking time to review my journal, calendar entries, and daily gratitude journal helped me to see the progress I have made this year.

Because I am a lifelong achiever, this taking pause to reflect is so valuable and necessary. Until I learned to do this, I would push myself way too hard, and ended up burned out.

I’m so grateful I created a new Vision and took action on it – albeit imperfectly at times. Like the time this year when I fell back to my old habit of overworking. Goodness that’s a tough one to break for me!

How about you? What score would you give 2021?

What Vision could you create for 2022 and beyond?

Are you taking some time to reflect on your progress, celebrate your wins, and raise a glass to yourself?

Because I know you have achieved some great things this year, I’m raising a toast to your success in 2022!

Cheers, Anthea

P.S. I owe a A big thank you to Irina Mihaela of Entrepreneur Enlightenment, who keeps me on track with the practice of taking stock at regular intervals.

And, by being part of her community and mastermind groups, I will continue to do this reflection in community. Its so valuable to hear others’ progress and celebrate along with them, especially as part of the Strategic Planning process.
